The Traditions Education
Program is a
comprehensive learning program in steps.
Lessons are closely linked to each other
to reinforce skills, knowledge and confidence.
Language and techniques have been
standardized as has detailed
explanation of art theory.
Learning objectives for each lesson
provide a standard to be achieved
before moving forward.
Bridges to fine art make this program
valuable to all visual artists.
Individual projects helpparticipants make
visual and technical connections to transferable
skills and knowledge where
it be in the area of colour theory,
painting techniques or art
principles including history
and symbolism of particular art genres
and styles of painting.
"The prerequisite for this
course is Module A."
Module B is
designed to advance the knowledge
gained in the first module through more
involved designs, in-depth color and
value studies, and the introduction of
several layering and blending techniques.
Through the introduction of realism,
sophisticated stroke design, landscapes, floral,
and still life, the program establishes the
technical building blocks for more
to come in the next module.
